Despite the huge gap since my last post, I have been working. There have been gaps for holidays and other enjoyable interruptions, but mostly, this is just slow work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is quite a bit of planing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And even more sanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweeping up the shavings is somewhat disheartening. I paid good money for that wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are all the countersunk screws, nails and temporary screw holes to fill. Below, I have painted on some epoxy as a base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The, using epoxy with a light filler to allow easy sanding, I fill all the holes and a few gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
